Ron Atkinson. This is a fabulous near 8 x 10 black and white Signed press photo of Ron Atkinson the Manchester United manager. To the reverse of the photo is the press stamp indicating it is from the Associated Sports Press (ASP) and was taken by photographer George Herringshaw on the 9th March 1985. The photo has been hand-signed by Atkinson using a blue biro and is clearly visible across his forehead. Atkinson is generally well remembered as the manager who put the swagger back in the way they played with two fabulous wingers, Hill and Coppell and finished third in the old First division. During his time at United between 1981 and 1986 he won the FA Cup twice and the Charity Shield once. Great piece of football memorabilia.
