Len Badger. This is a really nice A4 size colour picture of Len Badger the former Sheffield United footballer. This picture shows a dejected badger having failed to prevent Manchester United scoring. The picture is taken from a Charles Buchan or similar football magazine of the time and is very nicely signed by Badger in black ink. Len Badger is a Blades legend playing 457 league games with seven goals between 1962 and 1976. Had he not been a contemporary of George Cohen and Keith Newton, Len would have undoubtedly won many full England caps. He shared with Alan Woodward the dubious distinction of being widely regarded as the best player in his position at the time never to win a full international cap.
