Willie Anderson. This is a long narrow black and white picture of Willie Anderson the Aston Villa footballer. This picture does have a crease across the middle of the item but it does not detract from the quality of this collectors piece. The picture has been hand signed by Anderson using a black biro. Anderson was a youth player at Manchester United, he spent four years as understudy to George Best and only appeared in twelve first team games for United, including two cup semi-finals, before being allowed to join Villa for £20,000 in January 1967. A virtual ever-present for Villa for six years, he played 231 league games for the club scoring 36 goals. He helped the club to a promotion victory before signing for Cardiff City. Anderson moved to the United States many years ago and his autograph does not come on the market very often. £8.99
