Mike Hellawell. This is a nice A4 size black and white action picture of Mike Hellawell the former Sunderland footballer. This picture is taken from a football book of the time and depicts a scene from a match between Sunderland and Blackpool. This item has an excellent example of his hand signed signature in black ink. Hellawell played only 44 league games for Sunderland between 1965 and 1966 scoring twice. Mike Hellawell won two full England caps whilst with Birmingham City. Hellawell also showed promise as a cricket all-rounder for Warwickshire, for whom he played one first-class match.
