This picture is taken from a football book of the time and depicts Gates in full length action for Town. Eric has provided a fabulous example of his autograph using a fine black sharpie. Eric Gates played 296 league games for Ipswich Town between 1973 and 1985 scoring 73 goals. He also won 2 full caps for England.
