SALE: Signed picture of Don Megson the Sheffield Wednesday Footballer

Don Megson. This is a postcard size black and white picture of Don Megson the Sheffield Wednesday footballer. This picture comes from a Charles Buchan football Monthly magazine of the time and has been hand signed for me by Megson using a fine black pen. Megson is regarded as one of Sheffield Wednesday's greatest servants. He made his first team debut in November 1959, becoming a regular in the side as a left-back and eventually taking up the role of club captain. It was as captain that he led his team to a lap of honour (the first to do so as a losing captain) after Wednesday's 3-2 defeat to Everton at the 1966 FA Cup Final. Don made 442 appearances (including 386 league appearances and scoring six goals) for Sheffield Wednesday before moving to Bristol Rovers in March 1970. £0.99. I will refund half the UK postage for this purchase.
