Derek Sullivan. This is a wonderful A4 size, colour portrait of Derek Sullivan the former Cardiff City footballer. This picture is taken from a Charles Buchan magazine of the time and is hand signed in blue ink. Derek Sullivan played 276 league games for City between 1947 and 1961, scoring 18 goals. After coming through the ranks at Cardiff he made his debut in April 1948 against Newcastle United. Sullivan spent more than a decade at Cardiff and played in nearly all outfield positions for the club. He eventually moved to Exeter City and then Newport County He also won 17 caps for Wales. Derek Sullivan passed away on 31 August 1983. Wonderful piece of Cardiff City memorabilia.
