Ronnie Moran. This is a really wonderful near A4 size colour picture of Ronnie Moran the former Liverpool footballer. This picture is taken from a Charles Buchan Football book or similar of the time and shows a determined Moran tackling the great John Charles. The picture has a really fine example of a hand signed Moran autograph in fine blue ink. Ronnie Moran played 343 league games for Liverpool between 1952 and 1968 scoring 16 goals. Having spent his entire playing career at the club, he then became a member of the Boot Room coaching staff with Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley, Joe Fagan and Reuben Bennett, and was the club's longest-serving employee when he retired in 1998. Moran died on 22 March 2017, at the age of 83, as a Liverpool legend. . Great collectors’ piece.
