Leslie Smith. This is an exceptionally wonderful half A4 size black and white picture of Leslie Smith the Wolverhampton Wanderers footballer. This fabulous piece of football memorabilia shows Leslie on the treatment table and has been hand signed by Smith in ink. Leslie Smith is a former Aston Villa winger and played for Villa in the 1957 FA Cup Final against Manchester United's Busby Babes, where Villa won the game 2-1 to lift the cup. However his career was cut short after an achilles injury forced him into retirement in 1960. Leslie Smith played 88 league games for the Wolves between 1947 and 1956. Leslie passed away in March 2008. Leslie Smith related items are becoming much sought after and very rare.
