Eddie Turnbull. This is a fabulous half A4 size colour picture of Eddie Turnbull the former Hibernian and Scotland footballer. This picture is taken from a Charles Buchan football monthly magazine and depicts Eddie doing a spot of training! He was one of the "Famous Five", the Hibernian forward line during the late 1940s and early 1950s, along with Bobby Johnstone, Gordon Smith, Lawrie Reilly, and Willie Ormond. During his time with Hibernian he won three Scottish Football League titles, and in 1955 he was the first British player to score in a European club competition. This wonderful item has been hand signed by him using a black pen. Turnbull was a phenomenal striker for Hibernian Football Club, playing 349 leagues games scoring 150 times between 1946 and 1959. Turnbull also won 9 full Scotland caps. Eddie Turnbull died on the 30th April 2011.
