Chelsea team picture. The 1954-55 season was Chelsea Football Clubs 41st of competitive football, their Golden Jubilee and their 20th consecutive year in the English top flight. It was also the club's most successful year up to that point, as they won the Football League Championship for the first time in their history. This is a really nice black & white, large postcard size picture of the victorious Chelsea team of 1955. The picture is taken from a Charles Buchan or similar football book of the time and has been signed by six of the squad, Charlie Thomson, Stan Willemse, Derek Saunders, Eric Parsons, Roy Bentley and Les Stubbs.
