Alan Whittle. This is an A4 size picture portrait of Alan Whittle the Everton footballer. This picture is taken from the August 1970 edition of the Charles Buchan Football Monthly magazine and is hand signed by Alan Whittle using a fine black pen. He made a total of 241 Football League appearances for Everton, Crystal Palace, Orient and A.F.C. Bournemouth, scoring 46 goals. He also spent a season with Iranian side Persepolis where he made 34 appearances and scored 16 goals. Whittle was the first English footballer ever to play in the Iranian football league system. This is a very nice piece of football memorabilia.
